I have compiled a list from all the markers I found in the cemetery it is listed here rochelle-cem.txt If you know of a unmarked grave please let me know. This info is used by distant relatives that do not know where there grandparents are buried.
Above are 2 aircraft photos taken before the mill closed. If you have any other photos of Rochelle please submit them to me. The photo on the right shows why the bridges are blocked. The road is washed out .
Do you remember the saw mill at Rochelle, La? It shut down in 1945 and moved to Joyce, LA. There was a school and three churches, Baptist, Methodist, and Catholic. Do you remember Rufus Rogers? Mr. Day at the store?
