    THE OLD IRON BRIDGE CROSSED THE DUGDEMONA RIVER AT ROCHELLE.

    IN THE EARLY 1940′S WE SKINNY DIPPED IN THE RIVER NEAR THE OLD IRON BRIDGE. THE BRIDGE AT THAT TIME REACHED FROM ONE SIDE TO THE OTHER AND YOU COULD WALK ACROSS IT IF YOU WERE CAREFUL. NO VEHICLES COULD CROSS.
    {AT ONE TIME LOGGING TRUCKS USED THE BRIDGE.}

    AMONG THOSE SWIMMING IN THE RIVER WAS CHARLES HANNEGAN.

    The old Rochelle iron bridge sight can be located by going from Rochelle to Need More.Turn right by the
    first old house.Follow the old road to the river. If the river is low , you can find two large bridge support pipes filled with concrete laying on the ground.
    Elry Morgan took me fishing off the bridge that had fallen in to the river.

    OMG, I used to live close to the old bridge. Used to go swimming there. Jimmy, is your mom named Aline and dad “Jake” Sister Dolly and brother Wiston?
    I have been trying to find Need More to visit and have not had any luck so far. Going again next month.

    I visited Need More and Rochelle in June 2009 and the picture in the previous comment by me is the Blackshear house. The next image is the first house my parents ever bought.
