The old black cemetery is located on the right side of us 165 at what was the back of the mill.

Do you remember the saw mill at Rochelle, La?
It shut down in 1945 and moved to Joyce, LA.
There was a school and three churches, Baptist, Methodist, and Catholic.

Do you remember Rufus Rogers?

Mr. Day at the store?

I remember Rochelle in the latter part of its existence, and I attended school there is 42-45, grades 1-3.
